The search for alien life has always struck me as a very odd pursuit. For some time now it's been quite obvious to me that if we are truly looking for other intelligent life, we should not be using telescopes to peer into this physical dimension. If there is more than ourselves in this vast universe, then that life might not be existing on the same level as ourselves.
Recently I have re-discovered the books of Dolores Cannon. This remarkable lady is a very humble, very human researcher who presently hails from the state of Arkansas. She lived a faily conventional life as a wife to a US naval officer up until her first experiences with hypnosis and past-life recall.
The wisdom that comes from the channelings in her books is striking. The beings that communicate through her never force their opinions, never judge or make cruel remarks. Rather, these non-terrestrial intelligences always offer profound insight into many aspects of the human condition - lost civilisations, why human kind became imbalanced, UFO encounters, journeys to other worlds in spirit. In very straight-forward terms, the beings in Dolores' books manage to convey a coherent and consistent account of a multi-dimensional cosmos where humans play a part in a vast scheme of evolution - side by side with all kinds of extra-terrestrial and angelic beings.
These books have reminded me to look within for intelligence - not without. I find that I can tune in to the area around my heart chakra and sense this universal realm described in the books, a realm of light and love, of universal consciousness in which we are all connected and in which we all have an important role to play. No-one is insignificant in this scheme, because everyone's actions affect the whole. As we are all one, each individual's actions are in fact paramount in determining the collective direction in which humanity is heading.
So we should all take comfort in the fact that aliens do exist - just not in the way the most scientists portray (let alone so-called popular media!) This is God's universe, and it operates according to a divine plan, the cornerstone of which is Love. It is critical at this time for us to grasp just how holistic and interconnected this scheme is - and to expose the lie of scientists that the earth is nothing significant, just one speck in the universe. This attitude does a gross injustice to the importance of this wondrous planet Earth in the grand scheme of things.
And what is that importance? Well, the beings say that the earth is the most densely physical - and also the most beautiful - of all the planets in the entire cosmos. Truly it was created to be a garden of Eden. But humans have gone astray, and not always entirely due to our own fault. But we are reaching a juncture at which we must choose - to ascend to light, and the ways of love and light and care for one another and ourselves, or to revert to a more animalistic mode of being in a vibratory state which would truly be hell on earth.
And so the old prophecies contain a grain of truth with which the alien beings largely seem to concur. It is our choice-time, so let us cease to look without for enlightenment and start to look within. The hard work is upon us, so let's look toward the new world we have been promised with fresh eyes and new hope.

The Ninth and Tenth Insights
The Ninth Insight - The Emerging Culture
As more and more people engage the flow of meaningful coincidences, interacting in an uplifting manner with others and compensating others for their timely messages, human culture will begin an historic shift. We will be able to spend less hours in jobs that are less than satisfying, as our income is supplemented by our participation in synchronicity. Focusing on our spiritual evolution will become our main priority, and the way in which we interact with all groups in society - from children, to adults, to those in authority - will transform to one of positive expectation and mutual support and upliftment.
But before the general fear levels in society can truly ease, we have to integrate the remaining three Insights - beginning with the Tenth.
The Tenth Insight - The View from the Afterlife
Our endeavour to spiritualise our life on earth is given true perspective by the view from the Afterlife. There, we discover the true nature of the control dramas - in reality they are an inner hell, wherein we repeat the same fear-driven scenes over and over again. But we gain hope by realising that our loved ones in spirit are always there, projecting their love and energy to us hoping we will awaken and leave our self-constructed hell-worlds.
The true nature of the coincidences is also revealed - when a meaningful synchronicity occurs it is in fact an echo of our Birth Vision, a sign that we are on track with what we intended before coming into incarnation in the earth. We all come in with the very best of intentions; where our lives go wrong is where we make bad choices due to being caught in Fear. In most cases our lives can only ever represent an approximation of our original Vision; nonetheless, when a coincidence occurs we receive an influx of energy as we are reminded of our Birth Vision.
Our individual Birth Visions always originate from and blend seamlessly with the World Vision - a plan for the entire human race and for the Earth which in truth is nothing less than God's plan for us all. Heaven is guiding us and as more of us remember the World Vision we can ease the rising burdens of fear, remembering a hopeful outcome for the future. As we hold this positive vision, ever working toward it, we participate in the creation of a new Heaven and a New earth.

Galactic consciousness
There are a lot of people out there who claim to be channels
of various types of galactic beings, such as Dolores Cannon and many others.
Now I am not claiming that ability, at least not that this time! But a number
of blog posts and websites lately have stimulated me into thinking about what it
is that I feel to be true about galactic consciousness.
A common error that I notice people make when thinking about
what life might be “out there” is they think that life will take a similar,
material form to ours – that they will be creatures of flesh and blood like us.
Thank you, Hollywood! Well, for me, nothing could be further from the truth.
This vibration that we currently reside in, what we call our
ordinary earth-life existence, is the “lowest” realm of our entire galaxy! It
is the densest form of incarnation you can find, anywhere in the multi-layered
dimensions of the Milky Way. If the Earth (at least in the vibration that most of
us are currently living within) was a piece of real estate in the Galactic
Neighbourhood, it would be known as the crummiest and most dangerous part of
the city! You wouldn’t want to go there at night, because it’s often a little
scary and not terribly welcoming!! However I want to stress that this used to
be more true at certain times of history than it is now – during the medieval
times was probably when the Earth level was at its most brutal. I do feel
things are improving considerably now as the hearts and minds of people
improve, and as we get closer to the ecstatic galactic alignment of December
2012. But still, there’s no denying that Earth is something of a “backwater” –
we sit right out on the far point of one of the spiral arms of the Galaxy, very
far from the bright centre, the “hub” where all the brightest souls reside and
where all the real “action” is!
And this gets to the point of my post: to me, “soul”, “spirit”
and “consciousness” are much better terms for the life “out there” than “alien”.
Sure, there may be some spirit entities who may take on an “alien” form, or
resemble what we know as gray aliens. This may be because they are from a
certain star system, where the inhabitants have assumed that form as part of
their long process of development.
I think that it’s an attitude of fearfulness that leads people
to believe in the possibility of aliens landing, or some such. To me, angels,
aliens, gods and goddesses, are all part of the marvellous diversity of Life
that exists on what we often refer to as the “other side”.
“Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting” – those are the
words of my favourite idealist poet, William Wordsworth. This life, that is the
process of getting incarnated into this realm, is a very difficult one indeed, and the
birth process most often leaves a kind of trauma on the incoming soul that often leads to
amnesia or forgetting of the previous, blissful realm of existence – what the
Hindu tradition refers to as devachan. We forget that we have an infinite,
blissful inheritance just waiting for us on our return to our true “home”, and
that this stay on earth is but a temporary one where we practice at being
loving, and at being creative. We also forget that we have a “support team” of
beautiful souls right along side (sometimes more in the background) at all
times, who look on us with eyes of love and who are supporting us at every
turn. Then when we do make the return journey home, our support team are right
there ready to welcome us and ease the transition back, which is also often
confusing and scary. But we do have help!
So in summary I think we have nothing to fear from any
consciousness “out there”. The dominant part of the universe is love – the love
which brought the universe of manifestation into being in the first place. We
are here to practice being love; not
to be constantly looking for it outside ourselves, but to feel it within, to
love ourselves and the divine spark that God has given us as an inheritance. It
is only on earth where love gets (temporarily) forgotten as part of the
earth-amnesia. But love IS the only reality!

A new blog, at last
Well at last I'm writing again. It feels like the last 6 months have been something of a roller coaster ride!
I found out I am expecting my first child just after I made my last post, and since then I've been doing a lot both externally and internally. I've shifted jobs a couple of times, and tried to shift houses as well. But if you've ever lived in Sydney, you'll know how difficult that can be sometimes!
For a while now I've wanted to speak about the idea of the after life. Something that has often given me hope is my "memories" of the life between lives - what many of us refer to as heaven. Now my life certainly hasn't always been heaven! As I mention above, life is often a big roller coaster ride, up one day, down the next. Sudden turns, loop-the-loops, and your head gets turned inside out.
For me, the big test at the moment is faith - faith that everything that is happening is trying to guide me, to teach me something. And the hope that that something is meaningful. That's where the memories of the afterlife come in. For there, on the "other side", we see with a clearer perspective exactly what is really important in this rough and tumble life we lead here on earth.
From that perspective, the only thing that matters is that we showed kindness, love and understanding to another human being. That's it. Not all this chasing after success; not always striving to be "better", or "more". When we stand before the council of Elders, and watch our life back, all we will care about is whether we were kind enough; wise in our choices; caring towards others; refraining from doing harm; and whether we showed just that little bit of understanding to someone who needed us in the moment.
That's all. I believe that what makes God happy is when his children - that's each of us - show a little love to another who is in pain. Just the smallest of actions can make the world of difference. Life can be hard - but we can ease the journey for ourselves and each other.

May Musings
This post is more of a journal-stroke-musing entry, as I reflect on where I'm at currently.
For a long time I've really struggled to find either suitable or even just ongoing work, not just with the economic climate but really throughout my life since university. I have a lot of interests and fields of study that I engage in, but my biggest theme has been trying to integrate my passions and interests into some kind of meaning and also into work.
I'm glad to say I have an interview today for a job and I feel my prospects are good. To try to cover my bills I've been doing a lot of temp work but boy am I tired of that. When you temp you never know from week to week if you'll have an assignment, and therefore an income. The job I'm going for today is a 9 month contract to fill a role vacated by secondment. It would be great, if the role seems suitable, to have that kind of rare stability at this time!
I find that parallel with my economic situation, my inner world is just as active and in a process of flux. Right through my life and especially now I find I am really continuing to question what is real and what is true, in terms of the world of spirit and how it applies to actually living your life. The Buddhists say, before enlightenment, chop wood carry water - after enlightenment, chop wood carry water. This is so true! Its the human condition to carry on living one's life even while undertaking an internal spiritual quest. It doesn't make the inner world any less meaningful - in fact I consider it a blessing to have the external world in which to anchor my senses and my perception of reality even while I search my inner self for meaning.
One thing that frustrates me about the "modern" world of ours is the materialist interpretation of reality. So many so-called "experts" peddle the line that all things - including our consciousness - have emerged from matter. As well as this being philosophically absurd, to me its a deliberate insult to the human spirit. I feel grateful that I carry a knowing within that the spirit world is very real - the realm of clear knowing that we all originate from exists, and it has no need to justify itself to the world. I can't help but feel angry when the militant, scientific materialists deliberately downplay the importance of the clear light of the spirit world because right now I believe as humans in a materialistic age we need to be connected to our spirit more than ever. I know it's silly of me to take it personally but occasionally I can't help feel that way.
There are so many thoughts, theories, and unnecessary diversions today clouding the knowing of spirit. Just as our cities are being clogged with physical pollution, the mindstream of human consciousness is logjammed with extraneous thought. Fortunately I am of the conviction that most people have a deep-down sense of what is true and right ~ it may be only a whisper within their souls, but I am convinced that it is there. To me it's vital to maintain this kind of tentative optimism even in the face of a seemingly heedless march into a technologically-based false ecstasy. Personally I look forward to a time when this orgy of technology is replaced by a more sensitive, receptive and thoughtful outlook, based on a knowing that something higher and more "true" is there, just outside our noisy, rushing lifestyles, waiting for us to simply tune in and acknowledge it is there.
So while we chop wood and carry water, we can at least carry an inner joy, an inner peace, content that the true reason we are here is to grow in wisdom, to refine our inner knowing, and to bring more of that quiet joy and peace into our world. That way, no matter where we are or what we do for a career, we can infuse this world with more of the spirit of consciousness that flows from the finer realms. And to me that is the reason we are here ~ to help gently uplift and refine this material world, and our very being.
