Inspirational thought for NYE

Hey there. I get emails daily from a site called Inner Self, which contain brief inspirational messages that I've found to be really uplifting as I read each one every day. The website http://www.innerself.ca has some great articles about personal growth and spirituality.

I've copied the latest email below, I just thought it would make a great way to end up the year and ponder the new beginning ahead.

Winners don’t give up ever. They may try different strategies, but they always try. It involves a lot of faith. It involves a lot of compassion. It involves thinking with our own minds, and not simply going along with the majority way of thinking out of fear of ridicule. Fear holds us back; truth sets us free. It takes maturity.

And, finally, as we enter a new year, what are you going to do to make this world a better place? The world has been changed by "small" people with big hearts, big dreams. Never underestimate the power you have to make a difference.

I'd like to share some photos I took during a recent visit to beautiful Bronte Beach, an eastern suburb of Sydney.

Bronte is a place I visit now and then, I'm not really a surfer or even a swimmer to be honest. However it's a place I find uplifiting to visit, its got great natural beauty and fresh sea breezes, and it's nice to have a picnic lunch on the overlooks with my girlfriend.
